Projects
Enactus projects are dedicated to social entrepreneurship. They use innovative solutions to tackle social challenges and bring about sustainable change in society.
Touchprint
Touchprint makes tactile 3D images from a single photo for blind people using AI and 3D printing. People can upload a photo of choice in their website and they create a 2.5-dimensional relief that can be experienced using the senses of touch and hearing. There are about 40 million people in the world who are blind and could benefit from their solution. They even apply the technology for art, culture, and education by selling to museums, libraries, and schools with a focus on visual inclusion. Touchprint already has their first pilot projects with the Staatliches Museum Schwerin, and will soon be launching the product to the public.
Snizzers
In Germany, almost 400,000 tonnes of textile waste are generated every year, mainly through the discarding of unwanted or damaged clothing. Snizzers enables a more sustainable lifestyle by allowing customers to select repair or alteration services for clothing on a website, send them in and have them repaired by senior citizens and refugee workers before the finished item is conveniently delivered to their home.
Just Greenr
JustGreenr is becoming a green cashback platform. Instead of money, every user collects trees when shopping online, which are planted by a reforestation company. The trees make an important contribution to climate protection. This not only offsets the CO² emissions of the order and delivery, but also makes users sustainably CO² neutral. The platform is based on an affiliate system, which makes it 100% free for customers to use.
FörderEasy
Fördereasy aims to address the problem that millions to billions of grants go unclaimed every year, as associations and small organisations often have neither the capacity nor the know-how to go through the complex and bureaucratic application processes. Our solution is a platform that provides an overview of funding programmes and is equipped with an application wizard that guides the applicant through an easy-to-understand guide to submit the funding application.
Solarcor
Solarcor aims to produce solar modules at a price of less than 5 euros each to provide a low-cost source of electricity for people in remote areas. Through the use of such solar modules, local infrastructure can be built to provide communities with access to clean energy and improve their quality of life. This sustainable energy project aims to combat energy poverty and reduce environmental impact by promoting affordable renewable energy solutions.
