Touchprint makes tactile 3D images from a single photo for blind people using AI and 3D printing. People upload a photo of their choice and receive a 2.5-dimensional relief they can experience through touch and hearing.
Around 40 million people worldwide are blind and could benefit. The technology also serves art, culture and education: museums, libraries and schools focused on visual inclusion. Touchprint is already piloting with the Staatliches Museum Schwerin and will soon launch publicly.

“Defeating social inequality – plate by plate”
Our mission is to give people with little or no income more dignity in daily life. Every sixth person in Germany, and nearly every second single parent, is at risk of poverty. Hardship shouldn't have to become visible through begging.
In cafés and restaurants, customers can donate an extra meal or drink, a “ZweiMahl”, with their purchase. A display in the window shows when one is available, and anyone in need simply uses a code word when ordering. We're looking for energetic support to bring this to life!
Ready to make an impact? We’re always excited to meet motivated people who want to bring ideas to life with us. Take a look at our current openings and find the role that fits you best.

“Enabling fair collaborations between artisans and designers”
The Global South offers vast artistic skills and cultural resources, yet most of the profit in home décor ends up with large corporations in industrialised nations. Tara connects skilled artisan businesses directly with design companies in home décor and home textiles.
Combining digital technology with sustainable development practice, Tara creates lasting social impact through business partnerships. Its first cooperation, a proof of concept, is with Sri Lankan artisans.

“Simplifying nonprofit bookkeeping”
Many nonprofits still rely on spreadsheets or accounting software that doesn't fit their needs. Hopps is nonprofit, open-source software that simplifies accounting and tax reporting for associations, compliant with nonprofit tax rules.
Funded by the DSEE, the team is building an MVP web app with its first test users. It gives volunteers digital relief and students hands-on learning, so civic engagement doesn't get lost in bureaucracy.

The InnoLab is where creative ideas become sustainable projects. In weekly sessions you develop your own initiative or join a team, supported by mentors, a strong network and plenty of space for exchange.

If you're as passionate about innovation and impact as we are, we'd love to see if you fit the team.
